Safety at NRSI

At NRSI, safety is very important to us. Our Safety Committee has developed an extensive Health and Safety Manual, in addition to a Health and Safety Policy (see below). We actively promote this policy within the company and during all of our projects.

Members of the NRSI Safety Committee meet on a regular basis to make any necessary modifications to the policy that may arise due to new project circumstances and/or employee input. Employees at NRSI are very proud of their exemplary safety record.

If you have any questions about NRSI's Health and Safety Policy or Manual, please email Stacey Young.

NRSI Health and Safety Policy

The owners and Board of Directors of Natural Resource Solutions Inc. recognize that our work involves potential health and safety hazards. The company is committed to informing employees of potential hazards and protecting them from personal injury to the best of our ability.

To this end:

No employee will knowingly be exposed to a hazard that might result in personal injury.

Recognizing that risk is assessed personally for each individual, we will respect an individual employee's desire not to work under conditions for which they consider the risks too great.

A healthy and safe working environment will always take precedent over budget or monetary concerns.

All employees, supervisors and managers will be aware of, and conform to, their duties under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

We will endeavour to meet or exceed all legislative health and safety requirements.

Site-specific health and safety training, where appropriate, will be provided to each employee.

We will respect the site-specific health and safety requirements of our clients, which may exceed obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

No employee will be reprimanded for reporting a health and safety violation.

In the case of an accident, an investigation will occur to determine the cause and to prevent a repeat of the incident.
